The holidays are upon us. Thanksgiving is next week and who can walk into a store without seeing the decorated trees, twinkling lights and shiny Christmas wrapping paper. This year Peterson Spring has partnered with Lighthouse of Oakland County to bring a smile to a child at Christmastime by hosting a toy drive. This has been a rough year as we all know economy wise. Many middle class families who have always had a roof over their heads, food on their tables and presents under their trees are facing a bleak Christmas this year. Indeed having a home is essential and food as well but don’t underestimate the joy and smiles a simple toy can bring to a child on Christmas morning. The toys do not have to be expensive…a coloring book, a box of crayons, a board game. Any and all will bring happiness to a child this year at Christmas.
